Higher Quality Screenshots
We are currently using a compressed image format (PNG-8) to deliver xBrowse screenshots. This makes the site fast, but can cause slight differences in the appearance of fonts, or the quality and color of images on your site.
Want a higher quality option (e.g., PNG-24 or high quality JPG?) Vote for this idea.

One option we are considering is to have the application load PNG-8 by default and then load PNG-24 seamlessly in the background. Once the higher quality images were loaded, they would replace the lower quality ones.

Looks a little different to me...
Cool tool guys.
I can see that you put a lot of work into this.
A couple observations from my side, and I may be making errors so please take with a grain of salt.
I ran two sites on xBrowse just now. For the first site I noticed that what xBrowse is showing me as the Firefox3 on XP is looking a little bit different than when I look at the site directly on Firefox3 on and XP system. That was for the www.landofmedicinebuddha.org site as you can see how the red horizontal lines on the right column are… more

Awesome!
I suggest you sell a million copies and get the wealth and adulation you so richly deserve. This is a beautiful and original website.

Change "Saved Tests" to "History"
Or "Test History". It's a little bit wierd to say "Saved Tests", because I didn't do anything to save them. They were saved for free. This list is created as a side effect of me using the tool to test my schtuff.

Enable/disable certain browsers
Maybe reordering icons so that switching back and forth between specific screenshots is more convenient.

Highlight differences like Browsera
Browsera highlights differences from your chosen "baseline" browser using a red box around the parts that vary significantly. http://www.browsera.com/features

Make selecting browsers more obvious when in 2 View
Wasn't exactly sure how to change the different browsers when in 2 view mode. The keyboard shortcuts were awesome but wasn't immediately obvious to me. Maybe a dropdown above each browser view?

Better design for multiple browsers
(This idea from Josh Berg / VistaPrint)
The icons for the different browser/OS combinations at the top of the test page are nice, but if you add in Chrome, Opera, etc., that seems like a tough menu to scale. I'm sure you have a solution to this already, but just stuck out to me while I was using it and envisioning all of the different combinations that could be tested.

Better name for "Invert screen"
Once I executed a test, I really like the ability to toggle the background color of the canvas. Again, I'm coming from a non-technical background, so I'm not sure if "invert view" is meaningful to someone with a development or QA background, but it wasn't entirely clear to me that it switched the background color.

resizing the window
When I make the window smaller the menu options on the right bunch up on one another, making them illegible. I like the look and proportions of the page with the big icons for each browser, but maybe they're taking up too much functional space. If making the window smaller just created scroll bars, then the icons and menu options would be competing for space. Maybe the menu items could align a little above or below the icons, so that when the window is smaller they could slide on top of each other, keeping easy access to both.

Links should point to tests results, not the website
(From Josh Berg / VistaPrint)
I wasn't expecting the link to the website that I tested to take me to that website. For some reason, I expected that would take me back to the results of the test (which I realized later that I could do by clicking on the image instead

Add a "Save Image to Desktop" button / link
This idea came from Bhumika. She wanted a quick way to save a screenshot to desktop, since she didn't innately know about right click and "save as...". Even if a user did know about that, still a button might be easier. Basically, it pulls open the save as dialog and it allows user to save a screenshot to desktop or another folder so they can upload it to their bug tracking tool of choice.

Group Related Test Results
(From Josh Berg / VistaPrint)
The UI for setting up the test is extremely simple/clean. I really like the fact that you're saving the tests for me. Coming from a non-development or QA background, I'm not sure how often is normal to retest a page, but if I'm going to test the same page over and over again, it might be useful to see all results for that page clustered together in a time ordered "conversation-like" view so that I can easily see the sequence over time (or from before I fixed the bug to after I fixed the bug).… more

Integrate XBrowse QA mode with Trac
Create a quick/seamless way to integrate XBrowse with Trac so that users can quickly export a screenshot (or several screenshots of a given region at once) right into Trac.
